Her debut album, featuring popular new-age artist, May Second.Korea has a lot of new-age artists.I find this album diverse, with a touch of jazz, classical, and pop. And the wonderful piano and flute arrangement in track 4, that feels light and upbeat but also a tinge of sadness here and there.
I like most of the tracks, except Happiness, the pop effects were just annoying, and the repeatitve beats took away from the instruments, and I would've liked it much better without.
You actually can visualize ballroom dancing in "Last Dance", and Track 7(Agnus Dei) gives off a suspensful feeling but again..pop effects ruined it.
I don't think I like much of the pop effects, they kept repeating and was just plain annoying after a while.According to yesasia's description the album features a deep focus on sorrow and joy and an oriental feeling. A interesting listen overall, a few tracks were a bit iffy with the pop effects, but overall, worth the listen, who knows..you might enjoy it. (midnitexsonata.livejournal.com)
