At last the long awaited debut album from Danish Phony Orphants is
finnished. Iboga Records is very proud to present this new killer album
with eight previosly-unreleased tracks in a new progressive style. Phony
Orphants is Mikael Dahlgaard and Jeppe Ornkilde, which is both, located
in Copenhagen Denmark. Both have been friends even before they started
to get interest in electronic music. In 1997 Mikael and Jeppe started to
produce music on a Akai S3000, but it took few years before their first
release which were on the German label Aries. Today Phony Orphants
discography reaches long to labels like: Transient, Millennium Records,
Plastic Park, Aries, Creamcrop, Native Exsotics Outback Eclipse CD and
Global Eyes from Australia. After changing the equipment in the studio,
and with help from a producer in a professional mastering studio, Phony
Orphants has taken their sound into a new level. A fat pumping
progressive sound, which rocks every dance floor. Phony Orphants have
been getting their inspiration to this album from all the different
styles of electronic music they like. A mix between psychedelic trance,
tech house, house, progressive trance and you name it. Mikael Dahlgaard
is also known as DJ Emok, and one of the founders of Iboga Records.
Today DJ Emok is one of the top progressive trance DJs in the world,
with many years of DJ experience in countries like: Japan, Australia,
Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, USA, All of Europe, Israel, New Zealand
and so on. Jeppe Шrnkilde is known as one of the founders of the Danish
label Nano Beat, also Jeppe has a great experience as progressive DJ,
and have been playing at numerous events around the globe as well,
Japan, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and Europe to name few of them. Jeppe
is also busy making the Danish act Fabel, and is at the moment working
on an album with several different Danish producers. So together with
years of experience Mikael and Jeppe has created a blasting album in a
new unique progressive sound.
