Its the 1s SFX album, a project from the well-known Astral Projection et.al — Avi Nissim, Guy Sebbag and Yaniv Haviv (aka Aban Don). This early release is an impressive collection of relaxed psy trance beats with old school melodies. Featuring also a beautiful early appearance of Another World that was later remade and re ased under Astral Projection in 1999. The rest of the tracks touch a variety of styles in this very early israeli prytrance context, from the funky and acidic psychedelic sound of Una Bella Musica and Noise On People, to the Jean Miceel Jarre's infulenced Fine, Oxygene and Voide of Peace, which is a very intersting blend of electronic style.
Even though other SFX pieces at the time appreared remade in later Astral Projection albums and/or collaborations, the tracks in Rainbirds did not appear in any other future release, which makes his a definite collectors item!
Unfortunately there appears to be a mastering issue on the second half of the album.
