Antiscarp Records is out with a new compilation entitled Kesä! Expect maddening audio manifestos and the usual sonic hijinx from Finland. I am told Kesä is Finnish for “summer.” The promotional text accompanying the release elaborates on the style: “TurboPsychedelic-SpugedelicInterstellaroverdrive-Brokenbeats-Mushroomdisco-Facemelterspecial With double Cheese. Served Chilled. Drink in Moderation.”
